General Information
Tickets are on sale now for the 2007 Long Beach Blues Festival.

When selecting artists to appear at the festival this year, the goal was to invite performers who have been instrumental in the history of the previous Long Beach Blues Festivals... the legends of Blues & Soul music.

With that in mind, we are honored to announce the headliners for the 2007 Long Beach Blues Festival:
  • Buddy Guy
  • Little Richard
  • The Robert Cray Band
  • Dr. John
  • Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band
  • Koko Taylor & Her Blues Machine

Two very special performances!
Don't miss these two collaborations on Sun. Sept. 2 - they will be exclusive Southern California performances:

The Jimmy Reed Highway
A tribute to the music of the legendary electric bluesman Jimmy Reed, featuring Jimmie Vaughan and Kim Wilson (their first advertised engagement together since Vaughan departed the Fabulous Thunderbirds), plus Omar Kent Dykes, Lou Ann Barton and many other special guests.

The Honeydripper Allstars
a collection of blues artists performing the music from the upcoming motion picture “Honeydripper”, directed by John Sayles and featuring Danny Glover. The band will include Mable John, Gary Clark Jr, Eddie Shaw and many others. There will also be an exclusive screening of the movie at the festival on Sunday, September 2 at the Carpenter Center.

We are proud to continue the tradition of the Long Beach Blues Festival!
The Long Beach Blues Festival is considered the Granddaddy of all the West Coast music festivals... the roster of past performers at the Long Beach Blues Festival is a history of American Music!
