Entrance for the Street Festival
The street festival starts at noon and goes until 6 p.m. There will be signs for the main entrance for the street festival.
Entrance for the ticketed event
All VIP ticket holders need to exchange your tickets for wristbands at the KKJZ table in front of the main entrance for the Carpenter Center, beginning at 5 p.m.
Doors open at 6pm and concert starts at 7pm.
General admission ticket holders can simply enter the venue with your ticket.
There will be no “in and out” privileges.
What To Bring
A sand chair (30" tall max.), blanket (6' wide max.), non-professional cameras, sunscreen, hats, cash/ATM card and a friendly attitude.
What Not To Bring
Please do not bring the following items: alcohol, glass, weapons, pets, audio or video recording equipment, barbeque grills, canopies, tents or frowns.
Chairs, Umbrellas
Feel free to bring a sand chair (30" tall max.) or blanket (6' wide max.). Please feel free to bring umbrellas; however, they must be positioned on the perimeter of the seating area. Please be courteous to your neighbors in adjusting your umbrella or chair if asked to do so.
Bringing Food, Coolers & Picnic Baskets
Food may be brought to the street festival; please use plastic utensils only. Picnic baskets & coolers must not exceed 15" tall x 15" wide x 22" long. All baskets/coolers subject to inspection. No outside alcohol permitted.
Food & Drink at the Street Festival
The food area will include a variety of authentic vendors. Beverages of all types will be available, including beer, wine, water and non-alcoholic beverages.
Cameras & Press Requests
Through its contractual obligations with the performers, the Blues Bash is required to limit all professional cameras at the event. Any camera deemed professional in nature will not be allowed into the Blues Bash unless approved in advance - no exceptions! Video cameras and audio recording equipment are not allowed into the venue.

By attending the Blues Bash, which includes the street festival, you agree to follow all of the policies and procedures of Global Jazz, Inc. (KKJZ) and California State University, Long Beach
The Blues Bash reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person for any reason, including any person whose conduct the management deems to be disorderly or intrusive upon the enjoyment of other guests. A visual inspection of all items will be conducted on everyone entering the street festival site.
All sales are final for the ticketed concert - no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on purchased tickets. Artists and times are subject to change without notice. Restrictions are subject to change.
